3. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If your item is damaged, defective, leaking, broken, or incorrect, contact us as soon as possible at info@dakaloscents.com.

Once we review your request, we may offer a replacement, exchange, refund, or another suitable solution depending on the situation and product availability. Under South Africa’s Consumer Protection Act, consumers may have remedies for unsafe, defective, or poor-quality goods.

4. Hygiene and Safety

For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on fragrance, body care, beauty, or personal care products that have been opened, used, sprayed, tested, damaged, or tampered with, unless the item is defective, damaged on arrival, or incorrect.

5. Non-Returnable Items

6. Exchanges

If the return is due to a customer preference, incorrect order placed by the customer, or change of mind, the customer may be responsible for return shipping costs.

9. Gift Sets and Bundles

Gift sets and bundles must be returned complete, with all included items unused, unopened, and in their original packaging.

If only part of a gift set or bundle is returned, we may not be able to process a full refund.

10. Allergic Reactions and Product Sensitivity

Fragrance and body care products may react differently depending on individual skin type and sensitivity. Customers are responsible for checking product suitability before use.

If irritation occurs, stop using the product immediately. Used products may not be eligible for return unless the product is confirmed to be defective or incorrect.
